John's Blue Bison Burgers

1 lb. Ground bison (or beef if bison unavailable.)

1 egg

1/2 medium purple onion diced fine

1/2 C rolled oats

1 package Blue Cheese

Seasoned Salt to taste

Montreal Steak spice to taste

Several dashes of HP Sauce

 

1. Combine all ingredients except blue cheese. Mix well.

2. Crumble the blue cheese. Mix 1/3 of the blue cheese and mix into bison mixture.

3. Form into 4 patties.

4. Grill on medium high heat until juices run clear.

5. Top each patty with the remaining blue cheese to melt. Serve on your favorite bun or serve alone with salad.
