For the past decade, Hollie Taylor has worked directly in or with Canadian Christian radio. Starting her career at mainstream station Mix 96 and then Power 92 (Edmonton), she had a solid base to grow from when it came to promotions, community involvement and the studio.

It was Taylor’s passion for positive entertainment that led her to AM930 CJCA, where she had the opportunity to work in the news department and then eventually as afternoon drive host.  While working for TCB she had the privilege of helping launch 105.9 Shine FM and being the Afternoon Drive host.  But a yearning to see more of the world and to learn more about the music industry prompted Taylor to pack her bags and move to Toronto.  

During Taylor’s brief break from her full time radio career she took an entertainment business management course at Harris Institute for the Arts (Toronto).  While there she also managed artists, but the break did not last long.  She was quickly involved with voice tracking work and following her graduation from HIFA; spent some time in London, ON where she took on the roll of station manager for CHJX-FM.   Shortly thereafter, Taylor headed back to Toronto, where she worked for an independent radio promotion company.  It was here that she was able to incorporate what she learned from both the radio and entertainment industries as an artist manager, agent and radio promoter.

After 4 years of being in Toronto, Taylor returned to the Shine FM team to join forces with Johnny Rocket on The Morning Spin.
